A massive mobile RPG set in a galaxy far, far away is heading to a new frontier. After nearly a decade since launching on mobile devices, EA and Capital Games have announced that Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes will be coming to PC in early access starting today.
This PC version of Galaxy Of Heroes will be available through the official EA App, and it will feature enhanced 60fps gameplay with custom button mapping, improved visuals, and more. It is also “synced with the mobile version,” which means all progress and purchases made on mobile devices will carry over.
New players will not be behind the curve for long, as a recent update has streamlined the level-progression system so players can reach the max level 85 faster. Enhancements to progression in this update include a new quest and rewards system, which gives more XP for completing daily quests and more character shards for unlocking new roster members.
Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes first launched in November 2015, and it offers over 300 unique Star Wars characters in a strategy-RPG setting. It features a full story campaign, multiplayer raids against iconic Star Wars enemies and monsters, and PvP battles through the Squad Arena mode.
The PC version of Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes launches today in early access. Those interested in trying it out must download the EA app on the company’s official website. In other Star Wars news, the team-based shooter Star Wars: Hunters finally launched for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch in June after years of teases and trailers.
