Netflix has released a new trailer for Season 2 of Another Life, its series in which astronaut Niko Breckenridge and her young crew face unimaginable danger while on a high-risk mission to explore the genesis of an alien artifact. The trailer was broadcast during Netflix’s Geeked Week virtual event, a virtual fan-facing event revealing first looks at upcoming content.
The next season is due out sometime this fall, and it’s been quite a wait for fans, as the series premiered on Netflix back in July 2019. It was renewed October of that year, and then of course Season 2 went headlong into extended delays due to the global pandemic. Check out the trailer in all its splendor below.
Like Season 1, Season 2 is expected to run 10 episodes. The sci-fi series stars Katee Sackhoff, Selma Blair, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Ludlow, Blu Hunt, A.J. Rivera, Alexander Eling, Alex Ozerov, Jake Abel, JayR Tinaco, Lina Renna, Jessica Camacho, Barbara Williams, Parveen Dosanjh, Greg Hovanessian, Chanelle Peloso, and Tyler Hoechlin. Another Life is created by Aaron Martin (Degrassi: The Next Generation).
Also so far during Geeked Week, Netflix has announced October as the release date for Locke & Key Season 2, the episode titles for Umbrella Academy Season 3, and that its live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation will debut this fall.
