New Call Of Duty Pro-Style Controller Releases Same Day As Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 isn’t the only thing infiltrating your game room on October 25, as Activision is teaming up with PDP to launch the Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller- Call of Duty Field Op Edition on the same day. Built for PS5, PS4, and PC, the premium gamepad is now up for preorder. And if you’re seeking an innovative alternative to the DualSense Edge, the Victrix Pro BFG worth a closer look.

PDP Victrix Pro BFG Wireless Controller – Call of Duty Field Op Edition

$200 | Releases October 25

This is essentially a reskin of the existing PDP Victrix Pro BFG, which is a module pro-style controller–and one of the best we’ve ever tested. The controller includes multiple hot-swappable modules, including a left stick, three unique D-pads, a standard right stick with face buttons, and a six-button fight pad module. The controller also sports four remappable back buttons, five trigger stops with a hair trigger mode, four swappable stick caps, and support for PS5’s 3D Audio. You can also save three different profiles on the gamepad, making it easy to quickly change between your favorite button layouts.

The standout feature of the Victrix Pro BFG, however, is its module design. This allows you to move the buttons and analog sticks around and create either an asymmetrical or symmetrical layout, depending on your preferences. You’ll even find a module that pulls the R1 and R2 buttons onto the face of the controller–which is great for fighting games.

For even more customization options, you can dive into the Victrix app on your PC to adjust sensitivity levels and other settings. The gamepad is officially licensed by both Call of Duty and PlayStation.

There’s also a bundle up for grabs that includes both the Victrix Pro BFG and Black Ops 6 for $270–it’s available with a PS5 or Cross-Gen version of the game. If you’re only interested in the game, you’ll want to place your preorder at HSN. New customers can use promo code JUST4U at checkout to save $20 on their purchases.

Can’t wait until October 26 for a new controller? The older Victrix Pro BFG Call of Duty – Midnight Mask Edition is now available and in stock at Amazon. We’re sure it’ll be a hot commodity, so be sure to check it out while you can. Fighting game fans can also pick up a Tekken 8 edition for $200, or you can save a bit of cash with the traditional PDP Victrix Pro BFG models. The white edition is just $155 (was $180), while the black edition is $159 (was $180).
