New Elder Scrolls Online Trailer Shows Off New Visual Upgrades For Xbox Series X, Releases June 15

During the Microsoft E3 2021 Press Conference, Bethesda showed off the latest trailer for the new console enhanced update for The Elder Scrolls Online. Releasing on June 15, the new upgrade will introduce a slew of new visual and performance enhancements for Bethesda’s massively multiplayer game for the Xbox Series X|S.

In the new trailer, we got to see the latest visual upgrade to Tamriel, which showcased areas like Skyrim and Cyrodil. Over the years, ESO has evolved significantly, adding in new content, game-changing expansions such as the open Tamriel update, which made exploration more open-ended. Now Playing: Elder Scrolls Online – Official Next Gen Console Update Trailer

While this trailer aired during the Microsoft Conference and focused on the Xbox platform, this upgrade will also apply to the PlayStation 5 release as well. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will have a special performance mode that runs the game at 1080p/60fps, along with a fidelity mode that can bump up the visuals to a native 4K resolution while running it at 30fps. For Xbox Series S users, the performance mode will run the game at 1080p/60fps, and the fidelity mode will go to 1440p/30fps.
