New Fortnite Star Wars Crossover Features Anakin; Season 2 Extended

Epic Games announced another Fortnite collaboration with Star Wars, which will bring Anakin Skywalker to the battle royale. This crossover will begin on May 2, just in time for Star Wars Day on May 4.

In addition, prominent Fortnite leaker Shiina indicated that Chapter 4 Season 2 will last a week longer than intended and will now end on June 9 instead of June 2. Epic Games confirmed this a short time later, specifying that the current season will end at 2 AM ET that day, which is 11 PM PT on June 8.

It’s not clear what exactly the Star Wars crossover will entail, but we can expect the aforementioned Anakin Skywalker skin to be featured prominently. As part of the teaser image, recognizable Star Wars ships can be seen floating above Anakin, so it’s possible they will make an appearance, as well.

This isn’t the first Fortnite collaboration with Star Wars. Previously, the battle royale game has featured a number of beloved Star Wars characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Rey, and Din Djarin from The Mandalorian (along with a Grogu Back Bling). Past events also included new Star Wars-themed POIs, challenges, and even weapons.

Epic Games will likely reveal more details covering what to expect from this upcoming Star Wars collaboration soon.
