Lady Gaga has released a new photo from the set of the House of Gucci movie showing herself and Adam Driver looking happy and not at all like we expect to see them in the movie.
Lady Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, who is accused of orchestrating the murder of her famous ex-husband, the Italian designer Maurizio Gucci (Driver). The image was apparently captured from the movie set in a picturesque place in Italy. The image also showcases a first look at the work of the film’s excellent costume department befitting the Gucci name.
The movie is based on the book, The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed. The story follows the murder of Maurizio Gucci. In real life, Reggiani went to prison for her involvement in her husband’s death.
The Gucci movie features four Oscar-winning actors: Lady Gaga, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, and Jeremy Irons. It’s directed by four-time Oscar nominee Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Blade Runner).
Scott is keeping very busy, as he recently wrapped up a period drama called The Last Duel featuring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, and he’s set to direct a Napoleon Bonaparte movie after the Gucci film.
