Nier fans are in a tough spot at the moment. Project Gestalt Recollections–File 02 is the second book in the Nier Replicant novelization series co-written by series creator Yoko Taro and Nier scenario writer Jun Eishima. The books retell an expanded version of events from the game Nier Replicant. Preorders for the hardcover edition are discounted to $25.49 (normally $28) at Amazon.

That’s not the only new Nier book on the way. The third volume of the Nier: Automata manga series, Yorha: Pearl Harbor Descent Record – A Nier: Automata Story 03, is also launching alongside the Nier Replicant novel on March 19. The manga series’ “original concept” was created by Taro and books are illustrated by Megumu Soramich. The manga tells new stories that tie into the lore of Nier: Automata. Volume 3 preorders are discounted to $13.49 (normally $15) at Amazon, and the first two volumes are also available for just $10 each.
