At some point, every Star Wars fan has had to make a decision: Will they follow the light and use the Force for good, or embrace the darkness and support the franchise’s baddies. Thankfully, there’s a surprising (and delicious) new tool available to help fans decide: the new Star Wars Special Edition Oreo Cookies, which are available for preorder now.
The packaging invites consumers to “discover [their] true destiny” by opening a pack of the limited-edition cookies. Each package of the Star War Special Edition Oreos contains either all “light side” cookies (which feature blue creme and cookie designs depicting the franchise’s good guys) or all “dark side” cookies (featuring red creme and cookies sporting the likeness of baddies like Darth Vader). Consumers won’t know which side of the Force their cookies are aligned with until they open the package.
Not every package includes all available cookie designs for that side of the Force, meaning consumers may wish to purchase multiple packages if they’re looking to collect every cookie in this limited-edition run. Characters featured on the light side cookies are as follows:

Scheduled to hit shelves on June 10, the Star Wars Oreos are currently available to preorder from Walmart for $4.28 USD per pack. Given the fact that limited-edition Oreos frequently sell out quite quickly, serious collectors will likely want to pre-order a few packs to ensure they can get their hands on all character designs included in both the dark side and light side versions of the cookies.
