The Nintendo Switch Holiday Bundle will likely be the best option for most shoppers. This bundle includes a Switch with Neon Red and Neon Blue Joy-Con controllers and a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As a bonus, you’ll get a free three-month membership to Switch Online. Altogether, the Nintendo Switch Holiday Bundle is a great deal, but these holiday bundles tend to sell out so it’s smart to grab one while they’re still available online.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Bundle
$350 ($418 value)
This premium bundle gets you a Smash Bros-themed Switch OLED Model, a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and a three-month Switch Online membership. Considering the Switch OLED Model alone costs $350, you’re essentially getting Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the Switch Online membership for free. This bundle launched on November 19 but is still available at select online retailers.

Nintendo Switch Lite Animal Crossing Bundle (Blue)
$199 ($260 value)
The Timmy & Tommy’s Aloha Edition Switch Lite bundle is exclusive to Walmart. It offers a Switch Lite console with a cool Animal Crossing design on the back, along with a digital copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Keep in mind that Switch Lite consoles can only be played in handheld mode and can’t be docked to an external display.
The Animal Crossing bundle is by far the best Switch Lite deal we’ve seen since the handheld-only console debuted in 2019. Considering it is a special edition, comes bundled with a $60 game–one of the best Switch games–and is a Walmart exclusive, it could very well sell out before the holiday season ends.
Nintendo Switch Lite Animal Crossing Bundle (Pink)

The Isabelle’s Aloha Edition Switch Lite is exclusive to Target. Much like the bundle above, it includes a Switch Lite console–with a similar Animal Crossing-inspired pattern on the back but in Coral Pink–and a digital copy of New Horizons. Again, keep in mind that Switch Lite consoles can only be played in handheld mode and can’t be docked to an external display. As an exclusive to a single retailer, in this case Target, it’d be wise to pick it up sooner rather than later.
Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Mario Red Edition
$340 – $350
Though it doesn’t come with any games, the recently released Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Mario Red is one of the best-looking Switch consoles of 2023. Offering a bold red throughout the Joy-Con and dock along with a few hidden Mario graphics, any fan of the mustachioed plumber would be happy to add this to their game room. Aside from its slick looks, this is no different from the standard OLED Model–offering a seven-inch OLED display that’s great for playing in handheld mode.
If the loved one on your shopping list wants the Switch specifically for Super Mario Bros. Wonder, this console is the perfect choice. The Mario Red Edition Switch OLED is available at multiple online retailers, but Amazon currently has the best price at $340. It’s also available for $350 at Target and Best Buy.

Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Splatoon 3 Edition

Splatoon 3 is one of the best multiplayer games on Switch, and this special-edition console is inspired by its paint-filled world. The dock and Joy-Con are covered in ink-inspired designs, with splashes of blue, purple, green, and yellow found throughout the console.
