Novel Box Sets Are Steeply Discounted At Amazon This Week

Amazon is always a great destination for books, and that’s even more evident as we inch closer to the holidays. The online retailer is slashing prices on a wide variety of novel box sets–including works from J.R.R. Tolkien, George R.R. Martin, Frank Herbert, and dozens of other popular authors. Many of these deals require you to click a coupon box before adding the product to your cart to get the full discount, so be sure to look for the checkbox below the price to get the best deal

One of the coolest books on sale is The Lord of the Rings Illustrated. It’s not quite a box set (instead, it’s one massive volume encompassing all three tales), but it’s filled with color illustrations from Tolkien himself. It makes a great holiday gift for any Lord of the Rings fan, and gift givers are bound to love its new low price of just $27 (down from $75). You can also save big on the Illustrated editions of The Hobbit and The Silmarillion.

Other great deals include The Witcher Box Set (5 books) for $47 (down from $90) and Stephen King’s The Bill Hodges Trilogy (3 books) for $51 (down from $90).

For young adults and kids, you’ll find the Where’s Waldo Ultimate Collection (7 books) for $26 (down from $58), the Percy Jackson Paperback Collection for $27 (down from $45), and His Dark Materials Trilogy (3 books) for a ridiculously cheap $12. There’s even a nice selection of manga on sale at Amazon.

These deals are expected to disappear after Saturday, December 16.

You’ll find Amazon’s best boxed set deals below.
