The news comes from Take-Two’s earnings report (Via IGN). In the report, No Rest for the Wicked is now listed for a “Q1 Fiscal 2025,” meaning it’ll come out sometime between April, May, or June of 2024. So it’ll only be delayed by a few months at most.

Now Playing: No Rest for the Wicked – Official Reveal Trailer
Further in the IGN report, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick explained the reasoning for delaying the game was to ensure it was up to consumer standards:
“It did get pushed a quarter, and as always, we will move something if we feel like we just want to give it a little more polish so it can be the best bet it can be and be an even more amazing experience for consumers.”
No Rest for the Wicked was first shown at The Game Awards in 2023. It takes place in a fictional kingdom in the year 841, during which time a king dies, creating a fight over his successor. On top of that, players will need to defend their land from monsters invading it. No Rest for the Wicked will support multiplayer for up to four online co-op players and will launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S following a PC-only early access period.
