Outriders Demo Motion Blur Can Finally Be Switched Off In Next Patch

Outriders has gotten a lot of attention–perhaps more than we expected–prior to its April release, and a big reason for that seems to be its demo. It’s quite hefty, letting you play the whole opening of the game, and if you’re still farming the demo for rare loot to take into the full game, a new patch will make the experience feel smoother. Yes, the demo is getting a patch of its own.

Some of the more substantial additions being added are a much-needed motion blur toggle and improvements to matchmaking, which developer People Can Fly says will cut down on the time it takes to form a party. Numerous platform-specific bugs are also being fixed, such as the infamous audio desynchronization in cutscenes on PS4 and PS5, improved subtitle display and synchronization during the “Bad Day” quest, and various other tweaks.
