Palworld – How To Move Your Base And Palbox

You’ll be roaming around various locales in Palworld. Thankfully, you won’t get stuck in just one place that you get to call your home. Here’s our guide on how to change the location of your base in Palworld, which is now available on PS5, Xbox, and PC.

How to change the location of your base in Palworld

First, you simply need to deconstruct the Palbox that you’ve built via the world map. Here’s a quick summary:

The Palbox is a special device that’s constructed via the build menu (i.e. “B” key by default). It requires 1x Paldium Fragment, 8x Wood, and 3x Stone. The Palbox has a wide radius, which is counted as your base’s area. It’s also where you can manage the Pals that you’ve caught. They’ll assist you if you need to build or craft stuff, and by gathering nearby resources.Lastly, the Palbox acts as a fast travel point, too.

Early in the campaign, you can only have one Palbox that counts as your base. Naturally, you’ll be moving around as you explore the lands and battle more foes. In some cases, maybe you even plopped down the Palbox in the wrong spot as you were hastily trying to complete the tutorial objectives.

Now, if you do need another base of operations, just open your world map and highlight the spot that has the Palbox. Then, press and hold the “C” key to disassemble it. Doing so will let you construct a Palbox in another area. Don’t worry about any creatures that you’ve left behind since they’ll be kept inside the Palbox, raring to go out once you’re in a new location.

This is how you change the location of your base in Palworld. If you’re just starting your adventure, you might want to know about how to catch Pals and how to repair items, as well as the best early-game weapons.

Wide-open expanses, unique biomes, and even stranger creatures await you in Palworld. You can learn more about the game in our guides hub.
