For anyone unfamiliar with the device, Phigolf’s home golf simulator systems offer a budget alternative to spending thousands on the kind of higher-end setups that are on the market. In short, Phigolf aims to cater to people with budget and space considerations but still want to practice or have fun at home.
The Phigolf 2 includes everything you need to get swinging at home, the main piece being a weighted training stick. Our own resident golf expert and managing commerce editor, Steven Petite, says the system provides mostly accurate swing feedback for a low price, which is even lower now thanks to the deal.
Phigolf 2 is compatible with the Phigolf, WGT, and E6 Connect apps that allow you to play on a range of famous real-world courses when connected to the associated apps on iOS and Android.
The weighted club is about two feet long and includes a small sensor that attaches to the club’s grip, which in turn feeds swing metrics to the app. Users can cast the app to their TV to see the results of their ball flight on a full-screen display. Alternatively, people who have a projector or an indoor/outdoor net can crank actual golf balls with their real clubs. The sensor that comes with Phigolf 2 can be attached to any club you may already own.
