Princess Leia's Bikini From Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi Is Available For Over $30,000

You can turn heads at the pool or beach this summer by sporting Princess Leia’s bikini from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The only catch is putting up at least $31,000 to purchase the seven-piece costume at Heritage’s July Entertainment Auction.

Variety reports the bathing suit isn’t the only iconic film piece to buy, either. For example, Din Djarin’s helmet from The Mandalorian on Disney+ starts at roughly $20,000, while Mjolnir from Thor: The Dark World has a current bid of $17,500.

Heritage notes that Leia’s bikini costume, which has actual “production wear,” isn’t the most expensive Star Wars item available at auction. A Y-Wing miniature from A New Hope that belonged to Gold Leader is beginning at a whopping $300,000.

Earlier this year, C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels auctioned off his prop collection from filming various Star Wars movies. In 2017, a R2-D2 droid that was utilized in the original trilogy as well as the prequels sold for over $2.75 million.

Carrie Fisher played Princess Leia Organa and wore the bikini outfit in 1983’s Return of the Jedi. She died at the age of 60 in 2016.

The Acolyte is the latest entry in the Star Wars universe, currently in the middle of its season on Disney+. Earlier this week, a Star Wars movie from director Shawn Levy added a screenwriter, though the project has no official name yet. The Mandalorian and Grogu is slated to arrive in theaters on May 22, 2026.
