PS5 Streaming Games Goes Live For PlayStation Plus Premium

Earlier this month, PlayStation announced that it would bring PlayStation 5 streaming to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. As promised, Sony’s latest console now supports cloud streaming for select PS5 digital titles in the PlayStation Game Catalog, including Game Trials.

The PS5 streaming feature includes hits like Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ghost of Tsushima, Mortal Kombat 11, and Saints Row. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and The Callisto Protocol are also available for streaming as Game Trials. A number of other PS5 games that are not in the PS Plus Game Catalog are also available for streaming, including Resident Evil 4, Dead Island 2, Genshin Impact, Fall Guys, and Fortnite.

Note that you can only access the PS5 streaming service through a PlayStation 5 at launch. PS Plus Premium members can access any of the streamable games through their subscription without downloading the games directly to their console. They can also look forward to high resolutions up to 4K at 60 fps, enhanced audio compatible with PS5 Tempest Audiotech, and more.

For context, PS Plus Premium is PlayStation’s highest-tier subscription for services including online multiplayer, access to the PS Plus Collection, and additional free monthly games you wouldn’t otherwise get. We have more about it in our guide on PlayStation subscriptions.
