Sony has revealed the most-downloaded PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games on PSN for December 2022, and, to the surprise of probably no one, Call of Duty and FIFA topped the charts.
On PlayStation 5 in the US and Canada, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II was December 2022’s most-downloaded game. In Europe, FIFA 23 took the top spot, though both titles ranked highly in each region.
In the US/Canada, the top five were rounded out by FIFA 23, NBA 2K23, GTA V, and Madden NFL 23. For EU, the top five after FIFA 23 included Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, GTA V, Need for Speed Unbound, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
On PS4, Modern Warfare II was December 2022’s most-downloaded PSN game in the US and Canada, while FIFA 23 took the top spot in Europe. Switch to VR games, Beat Saber was No. 1 in the US/Canada, while Job Simulator took the top spot in Europe.
For free-to-play games (covering both PS5 and PS4), Fortnite was the most-downloaded game of December 2022 in the US/Canada and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was No. 1 in Europe.
