Team Ninja showed its next game at The Game Awards, a third-person action game focused on dual protagonists. Rise of the Ronin is coming to PlayStation on March 22, 2024.
The trailer didn’t note whether it’s coming to PS4, PS5, or both, but the story trailer did show lots of partner dynamics focusing on the two heroes. That may suggest co-op play or just a single-player story focused on brotherhood. It also appears to take place in somewhat recent history, given that near the end the two ronin are threatened with a handgun-wielding man with an Oni mask.
