When you’re busy saving the world over and over again, it can be tough to remember to take time out for yourself. At least, that’s Jennifer Walters’ theory when it comes to the Avenger known as Captain America, as shown in a new She-Hulk clip from IMDb.
In the minute-long clip, Jennifer talks to her cousin Bruce as she drives. While Bruce knew Steve personally, Jennifer has gotten to know him through documentaries and has a theory: he was so busy with his military life, getting frozen for seventy years, and then saving the world from the Mad Titan Thanos, that he never had time to get intimate with anyone. While we don’t know what happened after Cap dropped off all the Infinity Stones and lived out his life with Peggy Carter, it seems pretty plausible that Jennifer is right about him between the time he became Cap, right up until he retired.
But the clip isn’t just about Jennifer’s Avengers fan theories; in the final moments, a familiar-looking spacecraft interrupts her and Bruce’s chat. Take a close look: even if it’s not the same ship, the ship is clearly of the same origin as the party barge belonging to the Grandmaster of Sakaar–Jeff Goldblum’s character in Thor: Ragnarok.
We can only guess at who might be piloting it. We likely won’t have to wait too long to find out, though, as the clip seems to take place around the same time as Bruce and Jennifer’s training session based on the tropical backdrop.
She-Hulk premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18.
