Snoop Dogg Performed The People's Elbow In One Of Wrestlemania's All-Time Weirdest Moments

Wrestlemania weekend has come and gone, and while some fans aren’t too happy about the way it ended, it did feature one of the strangest moments in the event’s long history: Snoop Dogg winning a match with the People’s Elbow.

Yes, the hip-hop icon known for songs like The Next Episode and Deep Cover pinned fellow event host The Miz clean after delivering his own version of The Rock’s famous move. The twist ending came during an impromptu match between The Miz and Shane McMahon, which was billed as a surprise return for the son of controversial WWE boss Vince McMahon.

Unfortunately, during the match, Shane legitimately tore his quad, and he had to be carried from the ring by medical personnel. In what appears to be an impromptu move, Snoop then punched the Miz, delivered the theatrical elbow, and pinned him for the three count. WWE chief content officer Triple H praised Snoop’s improvisation at the press conference following Wrestlemania 39, calling him a “natural-born entertainer.”
