Some Of The Earliest Yu-Gi-Oh Games Are Coming To PC And Switch

Konami has announced Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection for Nintendo Switch and Steam. It is a digital-only title commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise. A release date for the collection hasn’t been announced yet.

Early Days Collection contains some of the earliest Yu-Gi-Oh games ever released, but the only title that Konami has confirmed so far is Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists. It was first released for the Game Boy Color in 2000, but it never left Japan until now with the upcoming collection.

Konami also revealed two other Yu-Gi-Oh projects. The first one is a VR game on mobile and PC called Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links, where players will be able to see the franchise’s iconic monsters in 3D. The other one is a project to add AI to Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. This allows externally created AI to be installed in the game, and the AI opponent learns more as it duels. However, Konami hasn’t confirmed whether the AI project will be implemented into the game itself.

Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel is a free-to-play card game that’s available on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and mobile.

Konami is currently working on other projects like Metal Gear Solid Delta and the remake of Silent Hill 2.
