Sony Pictures has been moving quickly to stamp out significant segments of Spider-Man: No Way Home that have leaked online–especially on YouTube–Wednesday morning, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As the highly-anticipated film is slated for release on December 17, consider this news also a public service announcement to be aware and extra cautious while browsing the internet if you would like to avoid spoilers for the film. A reported majority of the leaks had foreign subtitles or a foreign dub–and with a huge range of visual fidelity–but even if you don’t click through to the videos, just a thumbnail, video description, or comment can give away details.

Now Playing: Spider-Man: No Way Home Stars Play WOULD YOU RATHER | Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon
The film had a premiere and press screenings earlier this week, with the cast and studio imploring attendees to basically not do anything like this. Marvel executive Victoria Alonso told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet, “Don’t talk about it. Let people experience it the way they want to experience it. Because if you already know what happens, there’s no point. There are many surprises, so let people enjoy it.” Along those lines, check out GameSpot’s spoiler-free review of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts, who helmed both the previous MCU Spidey movies. Tom Holland returns as Peter, with Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Jon Favreau as “Happy” Hogan, Marisa Tomei as May, and Benedict Wong as Wong.
Producer Amy Pascal recently confirmed that Holland will continue to play Spider-Man in additional forthcoming films–potentially extending to at least another trilogy. If Holland’s recent comments in other interviews are also true, those movies will be coming quickly, because he hopes to step down from playing Spider-Man by 2026.
