Additionally, all platforms–including PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One–will receive a free update that will include a bevy of new features, such as Photo Mode.

Now Playing: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake Review
For the PlayStation 5 version specifically, the game will support DualSense controller features. For example, there will be audio output when picking up items and adaptive triggers will activate when using reef blower and swinging hook actions.
The update will also fix some general bugs, as well as rare instances where the save function stopped working entirely and when playtime didn’t pause while on the loading screen.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake was first released this year on January 31. In GameSpot’s SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake review, we said, “If you have no reverence or appreciation for SpongeBob, whether it be the old games or the cartoon, The Cosmic Shake likely won’t appeal to you. But for those of us who love SpongeBob, the Cosmic Shake is a great time with some old friends.”
