Star Wars Outlaws – How To Upgrade Your Ship

The galaxy is vast and you’ll no doubt run into a lot of trouble in Star Wars Outlaws. In some cases, trouble will even follow you off-planet. That’s where your ship, the Trailblazer, comes into play. She might be worn out, but she still packs a punch, especially once you’ve unlocked more perks. Here’s our guide on how to upgrade your ship in Star Wars Outlaws.

How to upgrade your ship Star Wars Outlaws

Upon making a hasty getaway from Canto Bight, your character, Kay Vess, finds herself aboard the Trailblazer. Your piloting escapade doesn’t last for long, though, since your spacecraft crashes on the planet of Toshara. You then spend the next few missions looking for an upgrade and someone who could fix it.

Eventually, after the Hyperspace main mission, your ship should be ready for hyperspace travel. This allows you to do a hyperdrive jump to the three other planets in the game: Kijimi, Akiva, and Tatooine.

Special unlocks for your ship

For your Star Wars Outlaws ship upgrade needs, your best bet is to look for Ship Mechanic NPCs. They’re found in the major settlements on each planet and their shops are fairly close to landing pads for your convenience, too.

As for special unlocks, you’ll have to head to Tatooine. There, you’ll follow rumors and intel hints to meet a Jawa named Teeka. He’s actually an expert NPC. Upon completing his quest, your ships turrets will be repaired, granting your vessel additional firepower.
