In terms of the update itself, players can look forward to using new co-op moves. One new move allows players to throw their co-op partners to deal damage to enemies. Dotemu has also added new quality-of-life improvements to help players keep their combos going, such as the implementation of more destroyable objects, and bonus time between stage transitions.

Characters across the board have received improvements, including the addition of increased stun while performing air-down attacks. Individual characters have also been changed. For instance, many of Axel Stone’s attacks have bigger hitboxes now, including Dragon Crush and Dragon Dive.

The company released a full list of patch notes detailing all the new changes featured in today’s free update.
