Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League developer Rocksteady has confirmed that its upcoming DC Universe game will receive an offline mode after launch. Originally revealed as a four-player co-op game starring several of DC’s most infamous villains–Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang–Rocksteady says that this mode will allow the game to be played offline.
“We’re happy to confirm we are planning to add an offline story mode that will give players the option to experience the main campaign without an internet connection,” Rocksteady wrote on the game’s Discord server (via VGC). “We’re planning to provide this update in 2024 and will provide more details when available.”

Now Playing: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Suicide Squad Insider 01 – Story & Gameplay
It’s worth noting that Suicide Squad is designed to provide its best benefits when online. Other players can help turn Task Force X into a well-oiled Justice League killing machine with their character builds and the game will have seasonal content available after launch, both free and premium. This includes new characters, cosmetics, and full cross-platform play, so the occasional digital handshake could come in handy.
After being delayed earlier this year, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is now scheduled to launch on February 2, 2024, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The latest The Game Awards trailer showed off some of the early action and cinematics from the game, although that NDA-breaching content was already seen online thanks to people who took part in the technical closed alpha and uploaded it to YouTube.
