As is often the case, it’s unclear when these deals expire–so if you’re interested in the event, it’s best to check out the price cuts soon.
The majority of these deals slash prices by $20, bringing prices down from $60 to just $40. And while you won’t find Tears of the Kingdom discounted, you can snag its predecessor, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for $40. But since you can easily sink hundreds of hours into the adventure (and it’s one of the best-reviewed games on Switch), that’s a great price. For something more competitive, you’ll find Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $40. Consider it with the Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, which unlocks heaps of additional courses for you to explore while also giving you access to a catalog of retro games from N64, Sega Genesis, and other iconic consoles.
Other notable discounts at Best Buy include Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Splatoon 3, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
There are also a few great deals to shop beyond Best Buy, with Walmart offering Kirby and the Forgotten Land for $42 (down from $60) and Super Mario RPG for $40 (down from $60). What might be more impressive is the discount for the remastered Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which Walmart is listing it for $54 (down from $60). That’s the first decent price cut we’ve seen since launch, so be sure to check it out when you get a chance. If you’re looking for some Paper Mario action, you can pick up Paper Mario: The Origami King for $54 (down from $60) at Amazon.
