Nintendo has announced that the Batman: Arkham trilogy, featuring Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight, will be coming to Nintendo Switch this fall.
During the June 2023 Nintendo Direct broadcast, a brand-new gameplay trailer was shared revealing that the definitive versions of Rocksteady’s Arkham games will be released exclusively for Switch later this year. These versions will also include all post-launch content as one complete collection, meaning players won’t have to purchase DLC separately.

Now Playing: Batman Arkham Trilogy Reveal Trailer
The trilogy is being developed for Nintendo Switch by the independent studio Turn Me Up Games, best known for titles such as the award-winning It Takes Two, its character-driven online RPG Wayfinder, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2.
Arkham Asylum was first released over a decade ago in 2009 for PS3 and Xbox 360 before making its way to PS4 and PC. Two years later, Arkham City launched and continued the story of the caped crusader in Gotham City. It wasn’t until 2015 that Arkham Knight was released, which featured a collection of playable characters other than Batman; like Batgirl, Robin, and Nightwing, via the DLC.
Each game is presented as a third-person action game, featuring an open-world Gotham City with stealth and detective mechanics. Iconic heroes and villains from the DC property take up the spotlight throughout the trilogy, including Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Batgirl, and more.
An official release date has yet to be confirmed, but users can head over to the Nintendo store page and wishlist the game right now.
