The Callisto Protocol Debuts Scary New Gameplay Trailer At Summer Game Fest

The recently unveiled The Callisto Protocol–which releases later this year–has been teased by Striking Distance Studios for quite some time, and it made an appearance at Summer Game Fest Live this year. We got an all-new look at the survival-horror game via a cinematic trailer and a gameplay trailer. The game is considered a spiritual successor to Dead Space.

The cinematic trailer showed off the game’s Dead Space vibes and confirmed it will be a very spooky and gore-filled experience. The trailer ends with, well, something very horrifying that you have to see for yourself. Check out the trailer below. We’ll add the gameplay video here when it’s published.

Though initially connected to the PlayerUnknown’s Battleground universe, this canonical link was removed during development. There will, however, be some Easter eggs that eagle-eyed fans should spot.
