Disney+ has it’s next MCU series landing on Friday, March 18: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Critic reactions are already landing on Twitter, and the general consensus is that it’s pretty good.
While official reviews for the upcoming series are still days away, general reactions give us a little insight into what Episode 1 of the show will be like. Obviously, Falcon and the Winter Soldier won’t be as experimental as WandaVision was to start. It is a lot more aligned with a typical Marvel movie, but in a TV show format. Check out some of the reactions to Episode 1 below.
Finally, this is probably the most serious reaction writer Ben Mekler has given for a TV show or movie. He’s primarily known for hilarious trolling and making up comical moments that obviously didn’t happen.
The series features Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their MCU roles of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, respectively. The duo will have to team up to take on a common enemy, Daniel Brühl as the villainous Zemo, who we last saw in Captain America: Civil War. Additionally, Emily VanCamp returns as SHIELD agent Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell will play John Walker, who in the comics took over the mantle of Captain America and then became US Agent.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier debuts on Disney+ on March 18.
