Hulu’s acclaimed drama The Handmaid’s Tale is coming back for a fourth season in April, and now the network has released a new trailer for it.
The tagline for the season is, “Freedom is just the beginning.” June (Elisabeth Moss) is going to war with Gilead and things are really heating up. “The risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges, and her desire for justice and revenge threaten to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships,” reads a line from the show’s description.
Episodes 1-3 of The Handmaid’s Tale season 4 will be available on Hulu starting April 28, with the remaining six coming each Wednesday after. The first trailer for The Handmaid’s Tale season 4 premiered at the end of February.
The Handmaid’s Tale stars also Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love), Yvonne Strahovski (Dexter), Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black), Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls), Ann Dowd (Hereditary), and Max Minghella (The Social Network).
The Hulu original series has already been renewed for a fifth season. In a statement, showrunner Bruce Miller said, “We’re very grateful to Hulu and MGM that the show will be returning for a fifth season, and especially to our loyal fans for their support.”
