The Umbrella Academy Reaches Its Final Countdown With Season 4 Trailer

Netflix’s adaptation of the Dark Horse Comics series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá The Umbrella Academy ends this August and the streaming giant released the first trailer of the Hargreeves’ final adventure. The show’s Season 4 will pick up after the climactic showdown at the Hotel Oblivion, resulting in a timeline reset and leaving the Hargreeves siblings stripped of their powers. Stranger still, their father Reginald is alive and well and heading a new business empire, that doesn’t have the world’s best intentions.

The trailer teases the show’s final timeline with Europe’s iconic The Final Countdown blaring through the chaos and camaraderie. Check it out below.

Along with taking down their father, the siblings are facing a new threat this season with The Keepers. The mysterious society believes the reality they’re living in is a lie and a great reckoning is coming.

“As these strange new forces conspire around them,” the official synopsis reads, “the Umbrella Academy must come together one last time–and risk upsetting the shaky peace they’ve all endured so much to secure–to finally set things right.”

Oscar nominee Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, and Aidan Gallagher star as the original set of six siblings. Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, Colm Feore, Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross round out the main cast of Season 4.

The Umbrella Academy returns on August 8.
