Long before The Witcher was a mega-popular Netflix TV series or an award-winning series of video games, it was a series of books written by Andrzej Sapkowski. The Polish author’s work would later be adapted by CD Projekt Red into a trilogy of well-received games, and later, a hit series starring Henry Cavill as the silver sword-slinging mercenary, but for anyone wanting to experience the roots of this dark fantasy series, these post-Prime Day deals are worth checking out.

First up, The Complete Witcher Saga is available in paperback form at Amazon. Normally $80, this box set is just $36 and includes all six novels, two story collections, and the Hussite Trilogy. Like the games and TV series inspired by it, The Witcher focuses on the hunter Geralt of Rivia as he waits for the birth of a prophesied child, Ciri, who will change the world. With war breaking out across the land, Geralt and his allies must find a way to protect her and the world if she is to fulfill her destiny.

If you’ve already read the main books and you’re looking for something more digestible, the short story collections are also available on their own in this smaller collection of two books. Tales like The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, and Season of Storms are included in the first collection, while the second book has The Tower of Fools, Warriors of God, and Light Perpetual from the Hussite Trilogy.
