This Board Game Turns Call Of Duty Into A Tactical Tabletop Experience

You’ve played Call of Duty on your PC, console, and phone, but have you ever done it on a table? Well, now you can do just that with the Call of Duty: K/D Party Game from Wilder Games. While the Call of Duty video games are in-your-face first-person shooters, this board game puts a tactical tabletop spin on the franchise. If you’re interested in adding it to your board game night rotation, you can grab Call of Duty: K/D Party Game while it’s just $18.73 (normally $25) for a limited time at Amazon.

The Call of Duty: K/D Party Game is designed for groups of three to five players, and the goal is to have the highest K/D token count by the end of a session. Players use loadout cards to take out enemy operators, deflect dares to other players, and more. Inside the box, you’ll find everything needed to play, including the rulebook, a game board, 100 loadout cards, 45 K/D tokens, 32 dare tiles, 15 pawns, three dice, and a dry-erase marker.

Call of Duty fans have a lot more to look forward to this month. The biggest, of course, is the release of Black Ops 6 on October 25. You still have time to preorder the game on consoles and PC, and you’ll unlock a few in-game bonuses for doing so.

There’s also new COD-themed variant of one of our favorite PS5 controllers, the Victrix Pro BFG, dropping at the end of the month. Like other BFG Pro models, the new Call of Duty Field Op edition is a modular gamepad that includes multiple hot-swappable components, including a reversible left module, a standard right module, a six-button fight pad module, four interchangeable sticks, and three different D-pads. The new model features a new “Field Op” pattern. It’s available to preorder for $200 at Amazon and releases on October 25 alongside Black Ops 6.

Victrix offers multiple other color and pattern options for the Pro BFG, including an additional Call of Duty Camo Blue skin, and a new Tekken 8-themed model that recently released. The Call of Duty and Tekken versions both cost $200. If you’d prefer something plainer–and more affordable–there are also white and black versions of the controller available.
