When WandaVision hit Disney+ on Friday with a double feature of the first two episodes, the episodes were titled with simple episode numbers. Now, though, the episodes have proper titles in place.
Different shows handle their episode catalog differently. Shows like Big Bang Theory and Friends each have their own title formats like “The One With Chandler in a Box” that give you a clue about what’ll happen in the episode. Other shows will simply call their episodes things like “Chapter 1” or “Part 1” to keep it simple and mysterious.

Now Playing: WandaVision Episode 1 & 2 Breakdown – Theories & Comics References
That’s how WandaVision started, but now the episodes have TV-inspired titles to back up the aesthetic TV kitsch going on in each one. The first episode is now titled “Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience.” And it was, indeed, filmed before a live studio audience, as confirmed by one of the WandaVision featurettes. The second episode is titled “Don’t Touch That Dial.”
It seems like an MCU project would come in so hot that someone forgot add the episode titles before they went live, so it’s hard not to wonder if the titles are coming in late because future episode titles are themselves spoilers for the show. On traditional television programming or Netflix‘s season-dump style of premiering, it’s easy to skip over titles completely. But when the episodes are not only premiering on a streaming service, but doing so week by week, viewers along for the ride will see every title as it airs.
WandaVision is steeped in mystery right now, and we have tons of hints floating around about what might be up, but Marvel likely wants to keep everything it can under wraps until fans have a chance to get in and watch the episodes in the days after premiere.
Episode 3 of WandaVision hits Disney+ on Friday, January 22, at 3AM EST, and every Friday after that until the season finale on March 5.
