Every weekend sees Destiny 2’s mysterious merchant, Xur, visit with a new slate of items, and this week is no different. Xur has arrived in the Solar System once again, providing you with a chance to pick up some Exotic and Legendary items. Here’s where to find Xur today and what he’s selling.
Xur is currently located on the EDZ. The Exotic weapon he’s selling this week is the grenade launcher The Prospector. In terms of Exotic armor, he has Lucky Pants for Hunters, Armamentarium for Titans, and Starfire Protocol for Warlocks.
Xur Location
To reach Xur, choose the Winding Cove transmat zone. Get on your sparrow and go north, past the collapsed overpass. Xur is waiting up above, next to a ship–you can either platform your way up the rockets to the left or enter a cave near the bend in the road and make your way through the tunnel.

Exotic Weapons
The Prospector (Grenade Launcher)
The Prospector is an old Exotic from the first year of Destiny 2. It’s an Arc weapon that allows you to hold the fire button to launch multiple grenades, and then release it to have them all explode at once. These grenades will stick to surfaces and their explosions set enemies on fire and create Arc explosions when an enemy is killed, making it a fun weapon, even if it’s not able to compete with other high-end weapons in the meta.
Alongside a rotating selection of Exotics and Legendary items, Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale are available from Xur each week, but they are the rare Exotics that can have different perks. This week, Hawkmoon comes equipped with Opening Shot, which is fantastic in PvP, while Dead Man’s Tale has Vorpal Weapon, which is also an ideal roll for PvP.
Exotic Armor
Lucky Pants (Hunter leg armor)
Lucky Pants are all about hand cannons, which will make or break your interest in using them. They provide a number of benefits for hand cannons: Damage on each subsequent shot is increased if the hand cannon is kinetic or matches your subclass energy type. And hand cannons can be readied faster and have an accuracy boost for a short time after pulling them out (during which time you’ll also receive an airborne effectiveness buff). The roll on this gets you a decent amount of Mobility, Recovery, Discipline, and Intellect, but you’ll be woefully low on Resilience and Strength.
Mobility: 15Resilience: 3Recovery: 16Discipline: 14Intellect: 15Strength: 2
Armamentarium (Titan chest armor)
The benefit of this chest piece is simple: You get an additional grenade charge. That includes your grapple if you’re playing with Strand, so if you find yourself wishing you could grapple more often, this may be a good option, though mods (such as Grenade Kickstart) are likely a better option so you aren’t facing such long cooldowns. Armamentarium can also be useful when trying to knock out grenade bounties, but overall, the ability to recover grenade energy through mods and Orbs of Power make this less useful than in the past. That said, you do get a reasonable stat spread here, including a decent resilience roll.
Mobility: 7Resilience: 17Recovery: 10Discipline: 15Intellect: 7Strength: 9
Starfire Protocol (Warlock chest armor)
Although the description alone may not blow you away, Starfire Protocol is actually a massively powerful Exotic that can allow Warlocks to dish out significant damage. It does require you specifically use your Solar subclass with Fusion Grenades, but it provides you with an extra charge of them and allows them to be recharged by dealing empowered weapon damage, which you’ll get from Empowering Rift or Well of Radiance. You’ll also gain Rift energy from grenade kills. Essentially, you’ll be able to alternate between doing weapon damage, throwing a never-ending supply of grenades, and getting your Rift back quickly. Although the stat roll isn’t amazing, this is a must-buy for Warlocks who don’t already have it.
Mobility: 14Resilience: 10Recovery: 10Discipline: 16Intellect: 11Strength: 2

This week’s Legendary armor is the Midnight Exigent set for Titans (which gives you a nice Warmind DLC-themed look), Abhorrent Imperative set for Hunters, and Yuga Sundown set for Warlocks. The Legendary weapons and their key perks are as follows:
