Update: Xur has departed the solar system. Here’s where to find Xur and what Exotics he’s selling for the weekend of September 2-6.
It’s the very first week of Season of Plunder in Destiny 2, and Xur has arrived to offer a few classic Exotics to players. Here’s where you can find the Agent of the Nine this weekend and everything he’s selling to help you take on the newly launched King’s Fall raid.
This week you can find Xur in the Tower, in the Hangar area. For his weapon, Xur is offering Skyburner’s Oath. Hunters can pick up the Raiju’s Harness chest armor; Titans can grab the Eternal Warrior helmet; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Aeon Soul gauntlets.
Xur Location
Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.
Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.

Alongside changes in his location, Xur’s inventory also rotates weekly. That means it’s worth visiting him each time to check out his new weapons and rolls on Exotic and Legendary armor. You can visit him any time between his arrival Friday and the weekly reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET the following Tuesday when Xur departs the Solar System.
Xur’s Hawkmoon is pretty great if you’re a fan of using it to thin the herd of low-level enemies with precision headshots. Though you’ll get a very powerful final Paracausal round the more precision headshots you land, the Killing Wind perk will also add increased mobility, weapon range, and handling for a short duration to help you line those crucial shots up.
Dead Man’s Tale has a decent range of perks this week, although the Moving Target perk probably doesn’t line up too well with the weapon that has been redesigned to be a cowboy hip-firing weapon since the start of the new season. It’s decent, but Xur has had better rolls in the past.

Skyburner’s Oath
If Savathun told you that everyone hates Cabal troops armed with energy shields, she’d be telling the truth. If you have a special disdain for those enemies, Skyburner’s Oath will be perfect for firing right through their barricades and annihilating them with Solar firepower. A classic scout rifle that was overhauled, hip-firing makes each Skyburner’s Oath land with an extra explosive impact and apply Scorch stacks to targets.
Raiju’s Harness
We’re seeing some great Arc 3.0 builds for Hunters right now, so make certain that you grab this Exotic while you can. It’s primarily for those Hunters who enjoy dancing around the battlefield with their Arc super staff, with this harness making it last longer in battle and allowing for it to be deactivated early so that you can save some Super energy.

Eternal Warrior
This is the second week in a row that Eternal Warrior is being offered to Titans, so if you missed out on it, here’s another chance to grab it. Arc 3.0 has introduced some devastating builds for Titans, and for those of you looking to be virtually unstoppable when you activate the Fists of Havoc Super, the extra overshield you’ll get with Eternal Warrior will help turn you into a juggernaut.

Aeon Soul
Rapid precision hits with a weapon temporarily increase your reload speed and weapon swap speed with Aeon Soul. If you’re handy with weapons that specialize in that field, you’ll be even deadlier with these. When you stun a Champion or defeat a boss, your nearby fireteam members also gain a burst of grenade and melee energy, making this a handy Exotic for group activities.
