It’s the jolliest season of the year in Destiny 2, and while you might be busy taking part in Dawning-related activities, you’ll want to make a quick stop by Xur to grab a few Exotic goods. For PC players who have been looking to hop into Destiny 2, don’t forget that you can grab a pretty great bundle deal for the game at the low price of absolutely nothing on the Epic Games Store for a limited time. Here’s where you can find Xur this week and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in The Tower, inside the Hangar.
For his weapon, Xur is offering Black Talon. Hunters can pick up the Liar’s Handshake gauntlets; Titans can grab the Armamentarium chest armor; and Warlocks can buy the Winter’s Guile gauntlets.
Xur Location
Spawn in using the Courtyard transmat zone in the Tower to find Xur this week. Head left and down the stairs to enter the Hangar section, then hang another left. Make your way to the north end of the area and look for a staircase that will take you onto a catwalk, where Xur is waiting.

Exotic Armor
Liar’s Handshake (Exotic Hunter gauntlets)
Liar’s Handshake has a high-risk and high-reward perk called Cross Counter that’s perfect for Hunters looking to get up close and personal with enemies. Using an Arc melee ability or being hit by a melee attack will allow you to land a devastating counterpunch, and when combined with a weapon trait on a shotgun like One-Two-Punch, it’s pretty lethal stuff. The stats on this Exotic are a bit extreme, as you get high resilience (great for soaking up damage) and high discipline, but strength is very low so you’ll need to apply an armor mod to increase your punching power.

Armamentarium (Exotic Titan armor)
It’s debatable how useful an extra grenade charge is, as there are several methods to recharge your class abilities quickly in Destiny 2, but this Exotic will likely come in handy in PvP activities when you can double up on explosives. The stats are decent for this roll, as you get high recovery and discipline, but resilience and intellect are on the low side.

Winter’s Guile (Exotic Warlock gauntlets)
There are some pretty good Stasis buffs available in the seasonal artifact for Stasis-wielders in Season of the Wish, and Winter’s Guile is a solid option to get good use out of that subclass. Warlord’s Sigil increases your melee damage when you use that close-quarters attack to finish off an enemy, and targets encased by Penumbral Blast will automatically shatter. Pair this with a Monte Carlo Exotic and you’ve got a killer combo here. The stats are mostly balanced on this version of Winter’s Guile, but you’ll want to boost your strength with an armor mod if you run with this Exotic.

Exotic Weapons
Black Talon (Exotic sword)
Black Talon is a pretty neat Exotic sword in Destiny 2, as it slices, dices, and vaporizes with a heavy projectile attack. If you’re playing as a Titan, Equip the Stronghold Exotic gauntlets to take your sword-wielding power to the next level.

Hawkmoon (Exotic hand cannon)
Another week, another average roll of Hawkmoon. Eye of the Storm gives you boosted weapon handling and accuracy the lower your health is, but that’s a risky perk to rely on.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
