Sure, Xur might not have won any recognition at The Game Awards this week, but everyone’s favorite intergalactic arms dealer is still a winner in our hearts. As usual, the Agent of the Nine has touched down and is lurking on a specific planet, ready to offer some fresh Exotic and Legendary-class goods to players. Here’s where you can find Xur this weekend and what he has for sale.
This week you can find Xur in the EDZ, in the Winding Cove area. For his weapon, Xur is offering the Jade Rabbit. Hunters can pick up Ophidia Spathe chest armor; Titans can grab An Insurmountable Skullfort helmet; and Warlocks can buy the Skull of Dire Ahamkara helmet.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone, then hop on your sparrow and go north. Take the collapsed overpass on the left and look for a cave near the bend in the road. Follow the tunnel through the cliff face to reach a higher ridge where a Fallen dropship has crashed; you’ll find Xur waiting there.

Exotic Armor
Ophidia Spathe (Exotic Hunter armor)
For the Crocodile Dundee Hunters looking to show off their knife collection, Ophidia Spathe is pretty great now that it has been overhauled. This new version of the Exotic gives you more knife charges, and if you land a final blow with a knife you’ll earn a stackable bonus for the next blade that you hurl at a potential victim on the battlefield. On top of that, Gambler’s Dodge refreshes the bonus timer. Combined with a Solar nuclear knife build and the available seasonal artifact perks this season, and Ophidia Spathe is a terrific Exotic to have. The stats aren’t too bad either on this roll, as they’re very balanced overall.

An Insurmountable Skullfort (Exotic Titan helmet)
Arc builds aren’t in the spotlight in Season of the Wish, but for Titans looking to zap their way through enemies, An Insurmountable Skullfort adds some electrifying options to builds. Transfusion Matrix will trigger health regeneration when you land a final blow with an Arc melee ability and it restores melee energy. Combine this with a Monte Carlo weapon, and you’ll be throwing out shocking haymakers at a frequent rate. The stats are pretty decent on this Exotic, as there’s high resilience and strength that ties in nicely with the style of play that this helmet encourages.

Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Exotic Warlock helmet)
A Nova Bomb is one of the most iconic Supers that a Warlock can use, but it does make those space-wizards vulnerable for a brief moment as the attack animation plays out. With Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Warlocks get additional damage resistance during this window and Nova Bomb kills will refund Super energy back to them. The stats on this roll aren’t too great, as mobility is unnecessarily high, resilience is low, and recovery is way below the average. At least intellect is pretty high, so that helps shorten the Super cooldown.

Exotic Weapons
The Jade Rabbit
The Jade Rabbit has been a big favorite in PvP, especially with new weapon-centric modes like Checkpoint. A scout rifle that serves as an all-rounder, its main perk allows for precision shots to gain bonus damage on the next body shot. As a bonus, that body shot will see ammo returned to the mag, allowing for this weapon to be fired for longer.

Hawkmoon
Hawkmoon is an average roll this week, with its Quickdraw trait allowing it to be drawn unbelievably fast. That trait comes in handy when dealing with Unstoppable Champions, as you can stun them with this hand cannon, deal extra damage with a power weapon, and then build up Paracausal Charges for the finishing blow.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is always a mystery when he first arrives, as he is not listed on the map, and for novice players, he can be easy to miss. However, there are a set number of locations where he takes up residence, including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ.
