Where Is Xur Today? (June 7-11) Destiny 2 Exotic Items And Xur Location Guide

With the launch of The Final Shape this week and the Salvation’s Edge raid, several big changes have been made to Destiny 2. One thing that does remain a constant is Xur, as the friendly arms dealer is ready to offer Exotic and Legendary-class weapons to anyone looking to triumph in the Pale Heart. There have been some big changes to Xur’s inventory, including a chance to get some classic Exotic weapon catalysts, and he now also has his own rewards program. While you can check our Final Shape guides hub for help, it never hurts to see what the arms dealer has for sale. Here’s where you can find Xur this week and what he has for sale.

This week you can find Xur in The Tower, inside the Hangar. For his weapons, Xur is offering the Sunshot and Jotunn catalysts. Hunters can pick up Raiju’s Harness; Titans can grab Lion Rampant; and Warlocks can buy Verity’s Brow.

Xur Location

Instead of being in the hangar, Xur is now in the Bazaar area of the Tower. When you spawn in, go right, down the stairs, and into the main marketplace. Xur can be found in the corner, where Eva Levante used to set up shop during seasonal events like the Dawning.

Xur Exotic and Legendary Items

One of the big changes with Xur this year is that he only accepts Strange Coins, now that Legendary Shards have been sunset. This is a full circle moment, as back in the original Destiny, Exotics could also only be purchased from Xur with Strange Coins. Check out our how to get Strange Coins guide for the full scoop, but you’ll largely be doing ritual activities to earn them.

Another big change is that Xur now has a vendor reputation rank that can be increased by making purchases with him, and some of his rewards include Exotic engrams, Enhancement Cores, and an Exotic Cipher.

The biggest change here? Xur is now selling Exotic weapon catalysts, in addition to Exotic weapons from his arsenal.

Exotic Armor

Raiju’s Harness (Exotic Hunter)

A great Exotic for Hunters looking to flex their electrical acrobat skills, Raiju’s Harness helps keep the Arc Staff super going for longer when you’re not attacking, and deactivating it early will create a blinding explosion. The intellect stat is pretty good on this roll, so you’ll have shorter Super cooldowns, and recovery is very high as well. Resilience is a bit low and strength will need a lot of armor mods to bring up to speed, so this isn’t the best roll of Raiju’s Harness that we’ve seen.

Mobility: 2Resilience: 6Recovery: 25Discipline: 9Intellect: 18Strength: 2Total: 62

Lion Rampant (Exotic Titan)

Lion Rampant doesn’t offer any offensive tricks, but it is superb for Titans looking to have more aerial maneuverability during tricky platforming sections in Destiny 2. It’s a situational Exotic, but it can come in very handy during certain Exotic missions, raids, and PvP. The stats on this roll are mixed, because while you are getting good strength and recovery, resilience, discipline, and intellect are on the low side. It’s worth picking up if you don’t already have it, just to experiment with the aerial advantages it gives you.

Mobility: 6Resilience: 8Recovery: 20Discipline: 7Intellect: 10Strength: 15Total: 66

Verity’s Brow (Exotic Warlock)

Verity’s Brow got a big rework for The Final Shape, and theoretically, it’ll work well with the Prismatic subclass. Weapon final blows with a damage type matching your grenade grants Death Throes, which provide a grenade damage bonus and grant you grenade energy. When you have Death Throes and you throw a grenade, nearby allies gain increased grenade regeneration for a short time. The stats on this are mostly evenly balanced, and these changes should work very well with the unique Prismatic grenade ability.

Exotic Weapon Catalysts

Sunshot (Exotic hand cannon)

One of the best Exotic hand cannons in Destiny 2, Sunshot fires powerful explosive Solar rounds that detonate when an enemy is defeated, making it great for dealing with large groups of enemies. Its catalyst adds a substantial amount of range to its overall stats, as well as extra stability to help you land consecutive critical hits.

Jotunn (Exotic fusion rifle)

One of the cool fusion rifles introduced during the Black Armory event, you can hold down Jotunn’s trigger to charge up a tracking shot that explodes and burns on impact. For its catalyst, you’ll get faster charge time or draw time when surrounded by combatants, and defeating a target spreads a stack of Scorch to any other nearby combatants.

Xur is present every weekend in Destiny 2, starting with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday. His exact location is no longer as he is now listed on the map. While Xur has appeared in a set number of locations–including the Tower Hangar area, on Nessus in Watcher’s Grave, and in the Winding Cove area of the EDZ–it looks like he has a new permanent home in the Tower’s Bazaar area.
