The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Abandoned Hebra Mine is a well-hidden area. You need to reach it if ever you want to complete the Master Kohga-related quests in the Depths. Here’s our guide to help you find the Abandoned Hebra Mine to face Master Kohga one last time in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to find the Abandoned Hebra Mine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Before we continue, we’ll have to note that the Depths is a dangerous place. You can take a look at our Depths and Chasms overview to help you prepare for venturing farther into this realm. Now, assuming you’re quite experienced already, there’s a good chance that you’ve been following the directions that various statues are facing, all culminating in battles against Master Kohga.
After beating him for a third time, you’re told that he waits for you in the Abandoned Hebra Mine. However, no further clues are given, except for the fact that a Chasm somehow directly connects to the underground facility. Worse, if you attempt to find the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Abandoned Hebra Mine by way of the nearby Hyrule Ridge Chasm, the statues will just lead to a dead end.
To find the exact location of the facility, you’ll want to make your way to Rito Village. There, look for an NPC that’s standing along the cliff face of the southern portion of the town. Surprise! The entrance to the Chasm is on the cliff itself, which is why it’s fairly hard to spot.
In any case, simply jump and glide down into the Gloom-filled pit, and you’ll reach the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Abandoned Hebra Mine. Down there, you’ll be able to tag a nearby Lightroot, which will act as a fast travel point. At the open area of the facility, you’ll face Kohga one last time. You can learn about the actual fights in our Master Kohga boss guide.
