The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Iun-Orok Shrine puzzle, The Right Roll, can be somewhat confusing. It requires you to find out the correct alignment or angle of your contraption so that it reaches the target. Here’s our guide to help you complete the Iun-Orok Shrine’s The Right Roll puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to solve the Iun-Orok Shrine’s The Right Roll puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Iun-Orok Shrine can be found in the Tabantha Frontier. Amidst the rocky crags of Tanagar Canyon, you’ll discover an opening that leads to Tanagar Canyon West Cave.
The tunnels are filled with Like Like enemies, as well as collapsed passages. You’re going to need lots of boulder-fused weapons and Bomb Flowers if you want to clear the passageways quickly. We also suggest doing this after you’ve completed the Eldin and/or Gerudo main quests. The companion abilities you receive there will help destroy boulders with ease.
At the very end of this multi-wing tunnel system, there’s a blocked passage in the middle. Crush the obstacles, and you’ll find the Shrine in the small cave.
To solve the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom The Right Roll puzzle in the Iun-Orok Shrine, you’ll want to make use of the Ultrahand’s attach function to build contraptions via orbs/balls. Here are the steps:
The first section is straightforward. The ball just needs to roll toward the target. In the second section, just attach the two orbs together, and roll them evenly in the middle. For the chest, you have three orbs that can be attached together. One idea is to create something where the smaller orb is lower, before raising it up high. Then, drop it and have Link step on the smaller orb. Cast Recall to raise it back up. You’ll receive 10x Arrows.
For the final puzzle, it can get a bit tricky. That’s because the game expects you to attach the three orbs at an angle. Then, you’ll have to make them roll down the winding incline, as though they’d bump off and hit the bullseye target above.
You don’t need to go through with that. Instead, try to make a combination where the orbs are attached at an angle, but you’d be able to “hook” them above the target (i.e. one of the orbs touches the top of the target).
Use Ultrahand and push your contraption all the way up and closer to the target. Then, drop it. If it hits the target, that counts as a valid completion. At least, that’s how we ended up doing this task.
In any case, this completes the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom The Right Roll puzzle for the Iun-Orok Shrine. This is but one of many activities that you can do in the game. Don’t forget to take a look at our Shrine locations main guide for all the other challenges that you can tackle.
