How to solve the Keys Born of Water Shrine Quest Puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Keys Born of Water Shrine Quest is located just northeast of the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower in West Necluda. You should see a forested and hilly area near the Squabble River. Just chilling underneath these rock formations is a Zonai Construct.
The Construct is right next to a device/altar that has three diamond-shaped indentations. Talk to it, and it will provide the following riddle:
Examine your surroundings, and you’ll notice that there are several Zonai Devices, including Frost Emitters and Flame Emitters.
First, you’ll want to activate one of the Frost Emitters by hitting it. Then, use Ultrahand to bring it to the river. Tilt it facing downward, and start making several square-shaped ice blocks/plates. The more you have, the better, since a bit of trial and error might be necessary.
Once you’ve got your haul, bring them over to the puzzle area. This time, you’ll want to light a fire. You can do so by tossing a Fire Fruit at the nearby campsite, or by activating a Flame Emitter.
You should then do the following:
Pick up one ice block with Ultrahand, then try to slot it in any of the diamond indentations. If it doesn’t fit, place it over the fire for a couple of seconds. As it melts, you should recheck if it fits.Do the same for the other indentations.
After slotting the three diamond-shaped ice blocks, you’ll complete the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Keys Born of Water Shrine Quest, revealing the hidden Jochisiu Shrine. Inside, you can get a Big Battery from the chest. This is also a Rauru’s Blessing Shrine, so just grab your Blessing of Light to complete the tally.
