Description

AffiliateWP Affiliate Product Rates extends the default commission system by allowing granular, per-product rate configuration. Rather than applying a single commission rate across all products, store owners can set custom rates for individual items based on profitability, promotional strategy, or product category.

Core Functionality

• Per-product commission rates: Set unique percentage or flat-rate commissions on each WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads product, overriding the global AffiliateWP rate.
• Rate hierarchy: Product-level rates take priority over site-wide rates, giving you fine-grained control over commission structures without affecting other products.
• Percentage and flat-rate options: Choose between percentage-based commissions (e.g., 15% of product price) or fixed dollar amounts (e.g., $5 per sale) on a per-product basis.
• Disabled commissions: Optionally disable affiliate commissions entirely for specific products where affiliate sales are not desired.

Practical Considerations

This addon works within the AffiliateWP ecosystem and requires AffiliateWP core plugin plus either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads. It handles product-level rates only; for affiliate-specific rates (different rates per affiliate), you would need the Tiered Rates or Custom Slugs addons. Rate changes apply to future referrals only and do not retroactively adjust existing commissions.
