Description

This EventOn add-on streamlines event creation for organizations managing large numbers of events. Instead of creating each event individually in WordPress, you prepare event data in a spreadsheet and import everything at once through a CSV upload.

Import Process

Prepare your events in a spreadsheet application with columns for title, start date, end date, description, location, category, and other event details. Export as CSV and upload through the plugin’s import interface.

Supported Fields

• Event title, description, and featured image URL
• Start and end dates with time values
• Event location with address and coordinates
• Category and tag assignments
• Custom EventOn meta fields and organizer information

Import Options

Choose to create new events only, update existing events matching by title or custom ID, or a combination. The import preview shows how CSV columns map to EventOn fields before committing the import, allowing you to verify accuracy.

Error Handling

Invalid rows are flagged with specific error messages (missing required fields, invalid date formats, unknown categories). A post-import summary shows successful imports, skipped rows, and any errors requiring attention.
