Description

Hostiko approaches hosting websites as a two-part problem: the marketing site that sells plans and the client area where customers order, pay and open tickets. Most WordPress themes only solve the first half. Hostiko ships both sides in one package, which is the main reason it stays in use at hosting companies that run WHMCS.

Layouts and Page Building

The package includes a large collection of home page layouts, each designed around a specific hosting niche — shared hosting, reseller plans, VPS, dedicated servers, SSL certificates, domain registration and gaming servers. New layouts are added regularly; the most recent releases introduced layouts 93 through 97. Every layout can be installed through the bundled demo importer, which brings in the pages, menus, widget areas and sample content in one operation.

Editor Choice

Hostiko is distributed in three editions. The Elementor and WPBakery Page Builder versions sit in the “Hostiko version 1.0” folder and remain supported for existing sites. The “Hostiko version 2.0” folder holds the current theme, and a separate Gutenberg edition is available for teams that prefer the block editor. You install only the edition that matches your workflow, along with the matching child theme.

WHMCS Integration

The WHMCS side of the package contains client area templates (including the Hostiko and Hostiko Material variants) plus four order form styles. Once installed in WHMCS, customers move from the WordPress pricing tables into a checkout that carries the same typography and colours. The Menu Manager, Layout Manager and Logo Manager addons expose the client area branding as WHMCS settings, so changes do not require template edits.

Domain Tools

Domain search widgets query WHMCS directly for availability and pricing, and a WHOIS lookup is included. The theme toolkit also provides an AI-assisted domain suggestion feature, restricted to authenticated users in current releases.

Maintenance and Security

Development is active. The March 2026 release hardened the AJAX layer across the theme and its bundled plugins: unauthenticated AJAX actions were removed, nonce and capability checks were added to WHMCS-related requests, and WHMCS and AI API credentials were taken out of the localised front-end settings. If you run an older Hostiko build, this update is worth applying for that reason alone.

Requirements

PHP 7.4 or newer, WordPress up to 6.9, and a WHMCS installation if you intend to use the billing integration. The WordPress theme works without WHMCS, but the domain search and client area features depend on it.
