LearnPress Razorpay Integration adds Razorpay as a payment option for LearnPress courses, enabling education platforms targeting Indian and South Asian markets to accept payments through locally preferred methods. Razorpay supports UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, digital wallets, and EMI options that are widely used in these regions.
Payment Features
- Razorpay Checkout – Integrated checkout flow that opens the Razorpay payment modal directly on your site without redirecting students to an external page
- Multiple Payment Methods – Accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Visa/Mastercard, RuPay, net banking from major Indian banks, and digital wallets
- Automatic Enrollment – Students are automatically enrolled in purchased courses once payment is confirmed by Razorpay
- Payment Verification – Server-side payment verification using Razorpay API signatures to prevent fraudulent enrollments
Configuration
Setup requires a Razorpay merchant account with API key and secret. The plugin provides settings for currency configuration, payment description text, and checkout branding. Test mode allows verifying the payment flow with sandbox credentials before going live.
Order Management
All transactions are logged within LearnPress order management, showing payment status, Razorpay transaction IDs, and refund capabilities. Failed payments are tracked for follow-up, and students receive email confirmations upon successful payment and enrollment.
